An image of the building used for the 1886 Edinburgh Exhibition woven into silk. A balloon is aloft above the building. The woven image was created using a Stevengraph, invented by Thomas Stevens. This image was woven at the Edinburgh International Exhibition, 1886, and is in the original mat that advertises the Exhibition and Stevengraph Works.
