This bag was to be used by the astronauts if they suffered from a case of motion sickness (sometimes called space sickness) at any time during the Apollo 11 mission. It could hold up to 50 cubic inches of waste material. It is believed that none were used during this mission.

NASA transferred this bag to the Musuem with other Apollo 11 equipment in 1970.
