This general purpose digital computer was the original computer used to control the Hubble Space Telescope. It was replaced by a more powerful computer during a Servicing Mission and returned to Earth in 1999.
NASA transferred this to the Museum in 2012.
This object is not on display at the National Air and Space Museum. It is either on loan or in storage.
