This is a cover for the lens of the Minolta Spotmeter available to astronauts during photographic work on the Apollo 11 mission. The cover protected the spotmeter lens when not in use, and has a small piece of velcro on one side to secure it to the vehicle when the spotmeter was in use.

NASA transferred this cover to the Museum in 1970 with other Apollo 11 equipment.
