National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC
In 2019, the United States Mint will release a commemorative coin in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the first Moon landing. A portion of the proceeds will support the National Air and Space Museum's upcoming Destination Moon exhibition.
Last year, the U.S. Mint held a competition to design the back of the coin, and the time is finally here to unveil the winning design! Featuring guest speaker Apollo 7 astronaut Walt Cunningham. Limited space will be available for the public to attend the unveiling. Learn more about the coin.
