Of all the lunar rocks on display throughout the world, only five are touchable.  Learn about the touchrock at the National Air and Space Museum and the landing site where it was collected in this short talk illustrated with the latest high resolution images from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter.

The Ask An Expert lecture series at the National Mall building is presented every Wednesday at noon. A Museum staff member talks to the public about the history, collection, or personalities related to a specific artifact or exhibition in the Museum.

Visitors can touch a rock from the Moon in the Boeing Milestones of Flight Hall at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC. Four other lunar samples are on display at the Museum.
