Help welcome Space Shuttle Discovery into the National Air and Space Museum’s collection. The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center will open early so National Air and Space Society members can be the first to see Discovery inside its new home.

The Space Hangar mezzanine will be open for prime viewing of Discovery while installation work begins on the floor below. Astronauts and curators will also be on hand to reflect on their experiences and share their knowledge.

There is no charge to attend, but advance reservations are required. Visit www.airandspace.si.edu/membertickets to make yours today.

Please note that there is a $15 fee for parking at the Udvar-Hazy Center.

With its drag chute unfurled, space shuttle Discovery rolls down Runway 15 at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
