This lecture will be webcast on Air and Space Live.
What does it take to protect space and our world from threats? Gen. John E. Hyten, Commander of the U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), believes it takes imagination and innovation.
In this year’s John H. Glenn Lecture in Space History, General Hyten will address the most pressing challenges USSTRATCOM faces as it stands ready to respond to threats anywhere, anytime across the globe, including space. With more than 35 years of experience as an Air Force officer and a leader in the Department of Defense, General Hyten leads a unique joint military and civilian team. Together they work to deter conflict in space and maintain space as "a sea of peace."
