EA-6B Prowler Induction CeremonySteven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA
Free, Parking $15
Join us for an induction ceremony as we officially welcome an EA-6B Prowler into our collection.
The Grumman EA-6B Prowler was the first U.S. military aircraft specifically designed for tactical electronic warfare—jamming enemy radar and communications while escorting aircraft on strike and bombing missions.
The event will feature music from the Marine Corps band and remarks from National Air and Space Museum deputy director Chris Browne and United States Marine Corps Deputy Commandant for Aviation Lt. Gen. Steven Rudder. At the end of the ceremony the exhibit label will be unveiled.
We rely on the generous support of donors, sponsors, members, and other benefactors to share the history and impact of aviation and spaceflight, educate the public, and inspire future generations. With your help, we can continue to preserve and safeguard the world’s most comprehensive collection of artifacts representing the great achievements of flight and space exploration.
