Flights of Fancy Series — Stories for Children

“Flights of Fancy” Story Time

May 4, 2011 | 11:30am - 2pm

Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA

Free, Parking $15

Join us for story time at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Museum staff read stories about famous aviators, hot-air balloon flights, trips to Mars, characters visible in the night sky, or creatures that have their own wings. Each session includes one story and a hands-on activity. Today's Story Time theme will be the Wright Brothers.

Noon until 2:00 p.m.
Experience the Museum's 1977 Cessna 150 from the pilot’s seat.

Following Story Time:
Join us for an interactive demonstration in front of the reproduction of the 1908 Wright Military Flyer.

Young visitors enjoy story time at the National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.
