Join us for a festive Holiday Family Day at the National Air and Space Museum. Take a look at the winter night sky for unique constellations you can only see during the winter solstice and learn how air and space technology make holiday travel, communication, and shopping possible.  The event will also feature hands-on activities, a scavenger hunt, and special performances.

Timed activities include:

  • 10:30 am: Free planetarium show featuring winter constellations
  • 11:00 am and 1:30 pm:  Zoo in the Sky story time
  • 12:00 - 3:00 pm: Solar observing at the Phoebe Waterman Haas Public Observatory (weather permitting)
  • 2:00 pm: USAF Brass Quintet musical performance

This program is made possible by the generous support of Northrop Grumman.
