Researchers at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) are inspired by geckos. JPL staff members have been working on robotics that are able to climb just like these sticky-footed lizards. One of those researchers, Aaron Parness, will be in the Moving Beyond Earth gallery for a live public program and webcast showing off some of his robotics, which can do a lot more than just climb!

The Smithsonian’s National Zoo will also be on hand with live geckos to show how they’re similar to JPL’s robots.

This program is made possible through the generous support of Boeing.
