Participate in an array of hands-on activities, listen to the cosmic sounds of "The Chromatics," and talk to museum staff and local experts about choosing, using, and caring for sky charts, telescopes, and other astronomical instruments.  There also will be "cosmic" story time for children ages three to six and their adult companions.

Please check back later for a complete schedule of events and activities.

"Make Your Own Telescope" is one of the most popular activities offered at the National Air and Space Museum's annual Explore the Universe Family Day. Here, visitors enjoy looking through the telescopes they just built.
