This program will be webcast live on this page.

The Juno spacecraft successfully entered the orbit of Jupiter in 2016, and will continue to orbit the planet until 2021. Over the course of the mission, the spacecraft will peer below the dense cover of clouds to answer questions about the gas giant and the origins of our solar system. In this talkScott Bolton, lead scientist on the Juno mission, will share images of Jupiter, discuss what we have learned from them, and reveal how you can get involved in the Juno mission.

This program is a part of the Smithsonian Ingenuity Awards and Festival. Bolton received a 2018 Ingenuity Award.

This program is made possible through the generous support of Boeing.
