Be among the first to see Neil Armstrong's spacesuit when it goes on display July 16, 2019, for the first time in 13 years. Armstrong's spacesuit underwent extensive conservation following a Kickstarter in 2015, and is going back on display in time for the 50th anniversary of the first Moon landing.
The spacesuit will be displayed in the Wright Brothers gallery, across from a piece of the Wright flyer that flew on Apollo 11. Learn more about the spacesuit's display.
We rely on the generous support of donors, sponsors, members, and other benefactors to share the history and impact of aviation and spaceflight, educate the public, and inspire future generations. With your help, we can continue to preserve and safeguard the world’s most comprehensive collection of artifacts representing the great achievements of flight and space exploration.
