Robotics Expo: Celebrating National Robotics Week
The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum commemorates National Robotics Week. Robotics has become an integral part of aeronautics, space exploration, and human spaceflight. Our museum exhibits a number of robotics milestones, such as DARPA’s ARM robot, Robonaut 1, the MER Mars Rover model, and the Google Car, among many others.
During this official National Robotics Week event, teams will demonstrate the projects they have created. The participating teams are from the following schools and organizations:

There will also be two sessions in Moving Beyond Earth (Gallery 113) in which each team will formally present their robotic project and will be interviewed by a Museum staff member. These sessions will take place at 11:00am and 1:00pm.
National Robotics Week was established in 2010 by the House of Representatives, and has grown from 50 affiliated events in its first year to over 160 last year. We join in this commemoration by celebrating new innovation in robotics.
