Join us for a program with journalist Lynn Sherr, Sally Ride biographer and author of Sally Ride: America’s First Woman in Space. Learn about Sally Ride from Sherr's perspective as a journalist, friend, and scholar. Understand the life and multi-faceted significance of this historical figure and learn about the history of women's entry into the astronaut corps.

Program Schedule:
11:00 am - Introduction by Margaret Weitekamp, space history curator
11:10 am - Interview with Sherr given by Valerie Neal, space history curator
11:40 am - Question & Answer session with the audience
12:10 pm - Book signing with Sherr at the museum store
