Throughout history and into present day (and the future!), women have accomplished great things in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields. Yet their stories and accomplishments may not be known — in fact, women in STEM are underrepresented on Wikipedia. To help close this gap, we are collaborating with Wikipedia to improve and create articles about women in aviation and space.
Tune in to this live program as we introduce you to inspiring women in STEM, talk about the importance of representation online, and check in on the progress of the edit-a-thon as as the Wikipedians add information to the online encyclopedia. Watch live on YouTube.

This program is in conjunction with the Smithsonian American Women's History Initiative, a multiyear undertaking to document, research, collect, display, and share the history of women in the United States.
This program is made possible through the generous support of Boeing.
We rely on the generous support of donors, sponsors, members, and other benefactors to share the history and impact of aviation and spaceflight, educate the public, and inspire future generations. With your help, we can continue to preserve and safeguard the world’s most comprehensive collection of artifacts representing the great achievements of flight and space exploration.
