    A metal section of the Horten Ho 229 V3 after conservation treatment. Areas of complete deterioration were filled using Hollytex, a synthetic fabric, and Varaform, a cotton fabric with low temperature thermoplastic. Golden acrylics were used to visually integrate the fills, however were toned so that up close the replacement material could be identified.
