On Wednesday, April 4, 2012, two space-flown, two-dimensional IMAX cameras were donated to the National Air and Space Museum in a ceremony that took place in the "Moving Beyond Earth" gallery.
As part of the event, IMAX camera co-inventor/director/producer Graeme Ferguson, writer/director/producer Toni Myers, astronaut/cameraman Bill Readdy, former Lockheed Martin executive Steve Chaudet, and the National Air and Space Museum's space camera curator Jennifer Levasseur participated in a roundtable discussion, moderated by space shuttle curator Valerie Neal.
