One of Flak-Bait's aircrews: (standing, left to right) co-pilot Sherman Best, pilot Hank Bozarth, bombardier Tom Gee, and (kneeling, left to right) tail gunner Bill Johnston, radio operator McDonald Darnell, and turret gunner Russell Bassler. They flew together eleven times in Flak-Bait between December 1944 and March 1945, and many more times with other aircrew.
