Stay up late to celebrate the summer solstice and go on a Cosmic Journey up and down the National Mall! As part of the Smithsonian-wide Solstice Saturday event, the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC, will be open until 11 pm.

This year, the Museum will be celebrating Sally's Night as part of Solstice Saturday. Each June we mark the anniversary of Sally Ride becoming the first American woman in space with activities that explore the wonder of our universe and shine the light on women and underrepresented genders in STEM.
