Every effort is made to restore an aircraft to as close to its original condition as possible. Because it is meant to be preserved indefinitely, once restored the aircraft is never flown again. This Aichi Seiran, developed by the Japanese in World War II, was designed to be launched from a submarine. It is the only one of its kind left.
