Don Lopez, Jack Dailey, Joe Anderson: Udvar-Hazy Center Ribbon Cutting
On December 15, 2003 the new Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center was opened. General Jack Dailey, Director of the National Air and Space Museum, cuts the ribbon while Deputy Director Don Lopez holds the back-up scissors. Mr. Lopez was also a key member of the Museum staff when the Flagship museum opened on the Mall in Washington, DC, in 1976. Joe Anderson, Associate Director for the Udvar-Hazy Center, is on General Dailey's right to make sure the museum is opened in fine style.
