Unboxing Leonard Nimoy's Spock Ears

This set of prosthetic ear tips were made for Leonard Nimoy to portray Mr. Spock in Star Trek: The Original Series. They have been donated to the museum by his son Adam Nimoy. Watch as curator Margaret Weitekamp unboxes the ear tips and sees them for the first time as an Air and Space artifact. The ear tips will go on display in 2022 in the Kenneth C. Griffin Exploring the Planets Gallery.
