    This image was taken on Monday, September 14 at 9:20 PM using a Lunar and Planetary Imager and the 16-inch Boller & Chivens telescope inside the Museum's new Public Observatory (POP).  You can see Jupiter's cloud bands encircling the planet.  The Great Red Spot is visible as a lighter colored, oval-shaped feature slightly off-center.
