The Grumman X-29 experimental aircraft model is carefully lowered from the second floor of the Museum in Washington, DC on Tuesday, August 30, 2011. It was moved out of the former Beyond the Limits gallery in preparation for a new exhibition, Time and Navigation, opening in 2013.
