The above named airman served his country honorably during WWII. He was a pilot of a B-24 Liberator bomber with the 15th Air Force based I Italy. He was wounded by flak on his forty-eighth mission. He was medically discharged from service and led an eventful and fulfilling life.
His military awards included the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters and the Purple Heart.
