Edward Kenny experienced his first flight in an open-cockpit biplane out of Roosevelt Field, Long Island, NY in the late thirties.
Subsequently he went on to fly 85 tac R missions (tactical reconnaissance) in a P 51 Mustang in support of Patton’s Third Army march across France and Germany during World War II.
During his career he enjoyed some 36 years helping Pan American World Airways, becoming a key instrument in enhancing our country’s participation in world trade and travel.
