He joined the U.S. Army in 1943, entered the Army Air Crop and graduated with the class of 44.C. He flew cargo over the Himalayas, otherwise known as the “Hump”.
He left as a 1st Lieutenant in 1950.
He got a job with American Airlines in 1951 and retired with them after 31 years in 1982.
