USAAF 1941-1946. Served as instructor, Randolph Field, Texas, and China, Burma, India Theater as a fighter pilot and supply carrier over the Hump. Commercial airline pilot with American Overseas Airline and Pan American Airways. Also took part in Berlin Airlift. Also designated as one of the first pilots allowed into Russia.
