    2nd Lt. Stanley Earl Hutchinson was born March 24, 1920 in Culver City, California, married in 1941, enlisted in 1943 as a Flying Cadet, graduated in '44, and started his advanced training in bombardment tactics. He was later assigned as a co-pilot and crew member of a B-17 flying bombing missions in Europe, flying out of airfields in England. When returning from a mission to Mul-house, France, on 3 August '44. his aircraft was damaged by enemy antiaircraft fire and subsequently crashed in the North Sea. His body was never recovered. He was survived by his wife, Betty
    and son, Randy.
