1. Member of an LTV Aerospace team in 1967 that prepared a proposal for design and construction of the environmental conditioning system for the first shuttle.

2. Studied experimentally and numerically the film cooling technique, a method of protecting surfaces from hot gas moving at supersonic speed.

3. Studied the used of macrochannels, a cooling method for protecting the vehicle skin from hot gas in supersonic flight.
