Squadron and Wing Commander, Carrier Air Group Commander, commanding officer USS America CVA-66, Battle Group Commander Carrier Group Six, DCNO for Plans, Policies & Operations, Commander Naval Forces Europe, Commander in Chief of NATO forces, Southern Europe. Awarded Distinguished Service Medal (2). Numerous other awards including Order of the Bath (England).
