AF LTC Robert McDonnell served USAF 1973-1993. Flew T-37, T-38, A-7, and F-16. Served as Commander of the 12th Combat Operations Squadron 1992-1993. Continued aviation career serving as a Flight Officer and Captain with Trans World Airlines, Northwest Airlines, and Delta Airlines. Retired from Delta on 13 August 2016. Continues to serve as a LTC and pilot in the US Civil Air Patrol.
