    Mr. Arieti was involved in the aerospace field for over 38 years as an employee of the Northrop Grumman Corporation. He provided valuable contributions to several national asset programs including the Lunar Module, F-14, Joint STARS, Space Based Infra-Red System (SBIRS), Radar Technology Insertion Program (RTIP), and the Multi-sensor Command and Control Aircraft (MC2A). He held various positions in the company including Test Director, Program Director, and Vice President. He was part of the leadership team that led the development and operation for the first use of computers to automate aircraft flight testing in the early 1970s. He was also part of the leadership team that developed the software for the Joint STARS aircraft and that developed the payload for the SBIRS satellite. Finally, he was part of the leadership team that formulated the development plan for the MC2A and the wide area surveillance RTIP radar.
