Alejandro's "Alex" interest in aviation started as a child in Mexico City, where he was born in 1968. He would build model airplanes and hang them from his bedroom ceiling. When he was 12 years old, his family immigrated to the United States. While attending high school in Goshen, IN, he took flying lessons at the local airport.

He attended Indiana State University where he received a degree in Aerospace Technology. He then became a flight instructor and earned several flight ratings. He has flown several kinds of airplanes ranging from home builds, single engine, light twins, turbo-props to passenger jets. He currently works as an airline pilot where his dream and passion for aviation continues.
