Alfred Lanzoni, a tool and die maker by trade, was employed by RCA/GE/Martin Marietta/Lockheed Martin as a Model maker, 1961-1998. In this capacity, he was instrumental in building essential components for weather satellites and other spacecraft. The switches on the TIROS III display at the Space Museum are samples of his work.
In addition, Al has maintained a lifelong interest in aircraft and space exploration.
