Years before earning his private pilot license, Allen had a deep interest in aviation. Allen would take our family to air shows for our yearly vacation which inspired me to enter the Army to work on helicopters and receive my A & P. the last couple years we have been building a gyroplane in Allen’s garage. We are attempting to run on the anniversary of the Wrights accomplishment at flight. A pilot, craftsman, mentor and father that shared his dream of flying with his son.
