This is to acknowledge Alvin Sydnor's lifelong appreciation for space
exploration and space history. His interest began after having worked on the
RVX-1 reentry vehicle early in his career and continued throughout his life. He
was very proud of his initial involvement in the wonderful achievement of U.S. space
