    Amanda, at the age of 30, is a crew trainer for the International Space Station, Environmental Control and Life Support Systems at Johnson Space Center. She is a licensed pilot and has logged flight time in a Boeing Vega B-17G. She volunteers at the Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston, TX where she is currently assisting in the restoration of a PB4Y-2 Privateer.

    Her love of air and space began at eight years old. She is passionate about our future in space and looks forward to our return to the Moon. She appreciates the past and all who have given their time and lives to make this country what it is today.
