    Honored by:

    Ambassador Finch served four U. S. Presidents in various official capacities in diplomacy. (Two Star rank) He was a Princeton ’41, NYU ’47 and a Harvard man and attorney. He was also a Colonel, USAFR served in England, France and Germany; Served in the Pentagon for Gen. H.H. Arnold. He created the Allied Air Order of Battle for the Army Air Corps, the Air Staff, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. His decorations include the U. S. Legion of Merit with oak Leaf Cluster (received from Gen. Arnold personally), The order of the British Empire(U.K.) and Officer of the French Legion of Honor. He was also a pioneer in development of outer space at both NORAD and SAC. In peace he wrote and published Astrobusiness – guide to outer space.
