Antanas Matulaitis was a reconnaissance pilot in the Lithuanian Air Force from November, 1936 until October, 1939, and flew the Anbo IV aircraft in the 6th Escadrille. Though his aviation career ended with the Soviet invasion of Lithuania, his stories of flying inspired me, his son, to follow into an aviation-related career in engineering many years later.
