Art served two years in the U.S. Army, serving in Viet Nam.
He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administrations from National University. His career spanned 30 years in Aerospace Marketing, working with numerous Aircraft manufacturing and repair organizations.
He had a vast knowledge of military and civilian aircraft. His collection of rare aircraft models and displays was one of his favorite hobbies.
He served as the chairman of the Airport Air Transportation Committee for the Harrison County of Commerce in West Virginia. At his death, Art was Director of Business Development at Aurora Flight Sciences in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
