When the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center was being planned and money was being raised (before and after its dedication), when the National Air and Space Society was growing its membership, and when construction was underway, a group of two dozen volunteers contributed their time and talents to get the job done.  The volunteers did many things including writing articles for the Society newsletter, answering patrons' inquiries, stuffing envelopes, updating the Web site, writing a Society email newsletter, consulting on design and construction plans, helping during Society events, contacting groups for Wall of Honor entries, and much more.  Their work resulted in a rapid increase in Society membership and in fulfilling the budget needed to make the Udvar-Hazy Center one of the world's premier air and space history collections and displays. 

Barbara Voyiaziakis was one of those volunteers who are honored by engraving their names on foil 1, panel 1, column 1 of the Wall of Honor.
