Obtained Aircraft and Engine Mechanic license at Roosevelt Field , LI, NY on Nov. 2, 1936 (one week past 18th birthday).It was the youngest age in the U. S. at that time. On Oct. 1937 at Roosevelt Field obtained Private Pilot license after flight test. Was a resident of Roosevelt Field Inn 1946-1947. Service manager for Cessna Distributor 1946, 1947 and 1948.
