Billy H. Prescott has been employed for the past 38 ½ years as a Design Engineer Specialist at Thiokol Corp. – ATK, located at Promontory, Utah. He previously served as Supervisor of Nozzle Component Design. His current position is Science and Engineering Staff Scientist, Nozzle Design and Analysis.
Mr. Prescott has made a lifetime of contributions to the U.S. Defense Systems and Space Exploration. His nozzle designs, as well as his expertise in research, development, product evaluation and problem solving are respected throughout the defense industry. He has a number of inventions-patents, published papers/awards, book publications, special recognitions and awards.
Bill’s hobbies are training and showing registered Quarter Horses, working with 4-H youth and fishing for salmon and steelhead in Idaho. He resides in Willard, Utah.
