Bobbie J. (Bob) Raymond Has served in military aviation, civil aviation, and in the U.S Space Program for more than 40 years.

1969-1976 United States Air Force - Avionics Technician. Air Force Commendation Medal for support to SE Asia 1970-1973. Air Force Commendation Medal (1 OLC)for outstanding achievement, 1973 Operation Nickelgrass. Also served with 1ACCS (NEACP) at Andrews AFB (1974-1976). Aircraft supported included C-141, C-5, EC-135, and E-4 AABNCP. Supported E-4 IOT&E.

1977-1980 United States Air Force Reserve - Avionics Technician. Supported C-130 and C-141.

Served as a Corporate/Company Pilot and Free-Lance Pilot, holding Commercial Pilot and and Advanced Ground Instructor certificates.

1982-1985 Naval Air Rework Facility (NARF) Jacksonville - Aircraft Instrument Worker and Quality Assurance Specialist providing depot-level maintenance/rework of aircraft instrumentation and instrument system components, as well as depot rework of P-3 and A-7 aircraft.

1985-Present National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)Kennedy Space Center (KSC) - supporting Space Shuttle and Space Shuttle Payloads, and International Space Station from first US launch through assembly complete. Served in several positions from Quality Assurance Specialist to Quality Engineer, to Project Manager of small projects, Senior Configuration Management Specialist, and as Certificate of Flight Readiness (CoFR) Manager for the ISS and Spacecraft Processing Directorate at KSC. STS-122 Launch Honoree and STS-133 Launch Director's Award.
