    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Neva Duncan Tabb

Mr. Duncan worked for the Sperry Rand Corporation form the mid-1950s to the mid-1970s. As Engineering Manager in charge of microwave solid state research and development, he was awarded 14 patents for his unique problem-solving designs.
One of his more notable achievements involved heading the team which was created to design a receiver with such low noise that it would pick up both visual and audio information transmitted on a one watt signal -- from the moon. His team was successful and these receivers were placed at all the earth-receiving stations around the world, where they functioned throughout all the Apollo missions.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
