    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

Mr. Budd Guttman is a close friend who served in the China-Burma-India Command (CBI), flying "The Hump" among other exploits. He belongs to the Flying Tigers now headquartered at the 14th Air force at the Vandenberg AFB, Lompoc, CA. At the 2001 reunion, he was honored by Generals Moorman and Looney. This CBI Group is diminishing in numbers. Budd has had a few medical bouts, but always lands on his feet. He was for years, post-WWII, a private investigator who raised three sons more or less on his own. He was a friend and supporter of Presidents Reagan, Nixon, Bush, and G. W. Bush and lives in Northridge, CA.
